Coming up next is 1955's "Lady And The Tramp", a classic Disney tale about two dogs from the opposite sides of the tracks that fall in love and give us one unforgettable Italian dinner.

The film's voice cast includes Barbara Luddy, Larry Roberts, Peggy Lee, Bill Thompson, Bill Baucom, Stan Freberg, Verna Felton, and Lee Millar.

It's Christmas 1909 in small town America.  Jim Dear has bought his wife Darling a special present.  It's a puppy that Darling names Lady.

Lady lives happily with Jim Dear and Darling, and she falls easily into a familiar routine.  She's got two friends in the neighborhood: Jock and Trusty.

Lady starts to feel left out of her family's life when Darling has a baby boy.  Lady can't understand what all the commotion is about.

But the moment she's introduced to the baby, she takes an instant liking to him.

Jim Dear and Darling go on vacation, leaving Aunt Sarah to house-sit.  Aunt Sarah does not like Lady at all, and she banishes her from the baby's room.  Aunt Sarah has also brought along her two cats, Si and Am.  "We are Siamese if you please.  We are Siamese if you don't please," they inform Lady in a sing-song voice.

After Lady gets in trouble for some of Si and Am's shenanigans, Aunt Sarah has her fitted for a muzzle.  Lady runs away from Aunt Sarah, who is glad to be rid of her.

She runs into Tramp, a mutt who lives on his own on the streets of the town.  Tramp takes pity on Lady, and the two stick together.

He even takes her to someone who may be able to help get that muzzle off of her.

That night, Tramp takes Lady out for a romantic Italian dinner.  It's a "Bella Notte" as the two share a plate of spaghetti and fall in love.

Unfortunately while hanging around with Tramp the next morning, Lady gets caught by the dog catcher and is placed in the pound.

She's picked up by  Aunt Sarah, but she's delegated to the doghouse in the back yard.  Jock and Trusty visit her.  When Tramp tries to come and apologize, Lady and the other two want nothing to do with him.

After Tramp leaves, a rat tries to gain access to the house.  Lady realizes the danger to the baby and starts barking.  Tramp comes running back and takes care of the rat.  Jim Dear and Darling return just in time to discover Tramp's heroism.

The next Christmas we find Tramp is now part of the family.  The baby is growing, and Lady and Tramp have babies of their own!  Jock and Trusty even come and visit them to help celebrate the holidays.

And that's it for Lady And The Tramp.  It remains a popular Disney movie.  It spawned a direct-to-video sequel in 2001.  Disney later released a live-action version of the movie using all rescued dogs.  It was released in 2019 on their "Disney+" platform.
