The Silver Screen Project

Welcome to The Silver Screen Project!

I'm a movie fan.  Obsessed.  I can't get enough of them.  Old movies, new movies, middle-aged movies...bring 'em on.  There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of movies in my collection.  The oldest is the 1921 silent film "The Sheik" starring Rudolph Valentino.  That's ninety-nine years of movie history!  In this blog, I'll talk about/review films of all genres and all time periods.  From the Golden Age of Hollywood to the movies of today, we'll discuss them.  We'll talk plot, setting, characters, costumes, and more.

Comments will be enabled for most posts.  That being said, there are a few GOLDEN RULES that I'd like us to observe should you wish to comment.

1. Be Nice. (Don't be rude to fellow posters.)

2. No politics. (Many members of the acting community later turned to politics.  Please keep your personal politics out of the comment section.  Let's just focus on the film.)

3. Have fun. (Films are fun.  Let's have some, too.)

Now that we've covered that...On with the show!
