The toys are a bit exasperated at Rex. He's popping bubbles and plowing them over left and right. They call him "Partypooper Rex", which makes him sad.
When Bonnie comes into the room, the toys scatter, leaving Rex alone in the center of the bedroom. Bonnie picks him up and says he'll be perfect as a bath toy.
And Rex is more than a little bit nervous at the thought of what bath playtime entails.
But soon Rex is enjoying himself as Bonnie's play partner in his newfound bathtub experience.
And the bath toys are glad to have Rex there, too. But as the water drains from the tub, they get sad that their fifteen minutes of play are up. They can never turn the water on for themselves because none of them have arms.
Rex, however, does have arms, and he's more than willing to make his new friends happy by turning on the water and filling up the tub.
The toys are super excited. Rex sweetens the deal by throwing in some bubble bath mixture, which makes the toys even happier. They throw some beads on Rex and ask him his name. Remembering the hurtful "Partypooper" moniker he was given earlier, he gives them a better alternative and tells them his name is "Partysaurus Rex".
Things turn into an all out disco party when the glow in the dark toys come to play. Some pulsating music is also added to the mix of the ever-filling bathtub.
Rex sees the craziness and tries to turn the water off before it overflows the tub. However, he spins the handle too hard and it breaks, crashing down to the bottom of the tub with the toys that don't float.
The drain stopper breaks, and Rex begins to freak out. The water is perilously close to overflowing.
Rex is momentarily relieved when he pulls a handle that seems to stop the water. Instead of turning it off, it diverts the water through to the shower head making the water rain down on the overjoyed toys who pull Rex into the tub and cause him to crowd surf towards the inevitability of overflow.
The next thing we know, Bonnie's mom is having to try and explain this mysterious flood to the plumber.
Rex tries to explain his "Partysaurus Rex" status to his waterlogged friends. Mr. Potato Head doesn't think he's telling the truth and tells Rex that he'll believe it when he sees it.
As if on cue, the backyard inflatable pool toys tell Rex that they heard what he did for the tub toys and wonder if he'll do the same for them. Rex zips down to the backyard and turns on the hose to fill up the pool for another rave party.
