Coming up next on TV Tuesday is Disney's 1952 classic cartoon "Donald Applecore", which features Donald Duck has he battles sneaky chipmunks Chip and Dale for control of his apple crop.
The cartoon's voice cast includes Clarence Nash, Jimmy MacDonald, and Dessie Flynn.
Who's got the sweetest disposition?
One guess, guess who!
Who never, never starts an argument?
Who never shows a bit of temperament?
Who's never wrong, but always right?
Who'd never dream of starting a fight?
Who gets stuck with all the bad luck?
No one, but Donald Duck!
It's a beautiful day at Donald Duck's apple farm, and he eagerly heads out to his orchards to pick some delicious fruit.
He decides to go nuclear on the chipmunks by using every poison he can find, plus some highly explosive atomic pills. He gets in his little helicopter and chases them down, destroying most of his farm in the process.
One of the little atomic pills finds its way to Donald's chicken house, where it is swallowed by a happy cackling hen. She proceeds to lay an egg. Not just any egg, a ticking egg!
The ensuing explosion succeeds in blasting Donald somewhere in the Orient. Chip and Dale here him conversing with someone from the other side of the giant hole.
The two chipmunks laugh and congratulate each other as they realize that they've gotten rid of Donald and the apple crop is theirs.

And that's it for Donald Applecore. Footage from this cartoon was used in a film about the making of Donald Duck Orange Juice. For the purposes of that film, the apples were recolored in order to appear as oranges.
